Created in 1999, the Raid Total Centrale Paris has continued to grow and has been developed by each successive organisation team. Sectors and features have been added.

All over the year, students prepare passionately the event. Since the month following the event, a new team is elected. First step is to work on the potential sites for the next edition. In october, discovering week-ends help us to choose the site. Once the choice is made, a whole week in the region is necessary to define the race trails and meet local authorities. Communication, inscriptions' administration and other tasks keep our team working until the event, in april. Finally, another week before the event is organised to set final details.

Given that there are large amount of tasks to accomplish, a good organisation is necessary. That’s why the organisation team is divided into several sectors. The sector Route traces a itinerary and organises funny activities! The logistics sector makes sure that everything necessary during these 5 days is ready. Sectors Safety and Environment are responsible respectively for the protection of people and the environment. Partnership sector and sector Competitors "recruit" sponsors and participants. Internal and external Communication, Publishing and Marketing promote the image of Raid. The sector Prologue organises the prologue that takes place on February 7th and is a rehearsal of the raid, so that everything happens for the best during the raid. And finally, the IT sector provides for everyone good work tools. In addition, a Direction including 5 people shall ensure the overall cohesion of the work of the different sectors. During the raid, the entire team ensures everything. Finally, physiotherapists, doctors, mountain professionals and other associations of the Centrale School are also there for a better result.
