The Prologue's 7^th edition Mar 7, 2012

Sunday, February 26: for its 7^th edition, the Prologue of the Raid Centrale Paris assembled about 200 competitors in the forests of Chantilly and Halatte in the north of Paris. Students and company managers had to face trail running, mountain biking and orienteering trials through 55 km and 8500 m of ascent in a one-day race, which offered a preview of what is to come in the Raid’s 2012 edition in April.

Competitors departed from Gouvieux at 9h45 and after a superb panorama of the Chantilly Castle, they reached the forest of Halatte, climbing the Mount Pagnotte, highest point in the region. They then returned passing by Senlis to cross the finish line before the Castle, the first competitors arriving at 15h30. Back to the camp installed in the municipal gymnasium of Gouvieux, students and companies had an opportunity to exchange around a convivial buffet. 11 of our partner companies were present this year, among which the exclusive sponsor of this Prologue, Ares & Co, an executive consulting firm dedicated to the financial services sector.

The Prologue allowed staff and competitors to test themselves. The 90 students composing the organizing team at the moment focus on the preparations for the Raid Centrale Paris 2012 edition and wait eagerly for April 22, when we will meet in the Durance Valley for five unforgettable days of race!

The 14^th edition is launched! Dec 6, 2011

This year the organizing team takes you into the southern Alps!

The program: more than 8500m  of ascent and 231km of length between Guillestre and Sisteron, passing by Durance River, Serre-Ponçon Lake, Gap and the cliffs of Céüse.
